Founded in 1960, the Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts is the region’s only art museum and one of its key cultural landmarks. Its collection has grown to more than 13,500 works, offering a broad overview of Russian and international art.

Visitors are often drawn to the museum’s elegant gallery of 18th–19th century portraits, as well as to its strong representation of the Peredvizhniki. The collection of Russian landscape painting is another highlight, tracing the genre from Fyodor Alexeyev through to artists working at the turn of the 20th century.

Equally compelling is the museum’s collection of 20th-century Russian art, which brings together works by major figures such as Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Pyotr Konchalovsky, Robert Falk, Alexander Deineka, Alexander Samokhvalov, Evsey Moiseenko, Viktor Popkov, and Ernst Neizvestny. A defining feature of the museum is its remarkable collection of works by Ilya Mashkov (1881–1944), a native of the region. In recognition of its importance, the museum was named after Mashkov in 2010.

In 1909, a large house was built in the village for children from surrounding areas. Schoolchildren walked 3–7 km through sun, rain, and snowstorms. Many graduates later became teachers themselves.

In 2014, the school was closed. In 2015, we bought it and after a long renovation, we opened a guest house in 2019. Then we added heating, a BBQ area, and a banquet hall. It's an endless process

We kept old posters and teaching aids — there will be a "USSR School" museum. The locals are happy: "The school hasn't died, it has a second life."

The stable complex includes an equestrian arena. This arena was built in 1891 by landowner Skolozubov, and is currently the only surviving such structure in Russia. Museum “Ryazan Secrets of Peter I” is an interactive museum in the very heart of Ryazan, on Cathedral Square, 8, in the historic house of Lyubov Zapolskaya, one of the first women mathematicians in Russia.

The exhibition is dedicated to Peter the Great, his reforms and the mysterious ties between the emperor, his mother Natalia Naryshkina and the Ryazan land.

The Candy Museum and Workshop "Grinyashkino" is a modern interactive tourist space with a taste of childhood in the center of Tver. In the museum, guests immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the candy-making craft, known in Russia since the 15th century. Visitors are introduced to interesting facts about candy, traditional Russian candy products, unusual recipes for sweets, including those from Tver cuisine. Here, one can learn about the favorite treats of Russian writers as well as artistic candy.

The museum's exhibition features unique candy sculptures. The highlight of the exhibition is a 170 cm tall candy Christmas tree.
