The business programme architecture for the Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum has now been released. The event will take place on 10–14 June 2026, with the business forum being held on 10–12 June. The Forum is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. It is intended to become a key platform for the Russian tourism market and will focus on developing competitive tourism products as the basis for the sustainable development of domestic and inbound tourism.

The 2026 programme is built on the principle ‘from meaning to the economy’ with the unifying theme ‘Different Cultures – Common Values: Uniting People through Travel’. It emphasizes the role of tourism as a tool for intercultural dialogue, spatial development, and improving people’s quality of life.

“This year has been declared the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia by President Vladimir Putin. The Let’s Travel! Forum will focus on tourism as a way to better understand different cultures. Similarly, the business programme will focus on the creation of competitive tourism products, tourism promotion, and tourism infrastructure, including infrastructure being created under the ‘Tourism and Hospitality Industry’ national project. I am confident that the Forum will again attract a large number of participants this summer, and its topics will be of interest to travel enthusiasts and industry professionals alike,” noted Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.

The business programme architecture is built around three interconnected areas: ‘Product’, ‘Infrastructure’, and ‘Promotion’. Front and centre is the ‘Product’ block, which provides a framework for discussing management, investment, and communications decisions. It covers issues of territorial identity, the creation of competitive proposals, the development of human resources, and improving the efficiency of the industry using modern methods and technologies.

“The Forum creates an institutional and expert basis for industry growth, ensuring that the strategic priorities of state policy fully align. This is where national goals are transformed into practical solutions and implemented at the regional level,” stressed Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov.

The ‘Infrastructure’ block deals with the conditions and mechanisms for developing tourist accessibility, transport connectivity, and the creation of centres of attraction. Meanwhile, the ‘Promotion’ block focuses on tools for promoting territories, developing tourism brands, and modern formats for interaction between market participants.

Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov made special note of the programme’s focus on practical results: “The business programme architecture is designed so that each track leads to specific projects: new routes, infrastructure modernization, and the launch of services and promotional tools. Tourism products are the centre of the ecosystem, with support measures, investment decisions, and marketing activities uniting around it. The Let’s Travel! Forum is a platform for regions to showcase their flagship offerings, announce new initiatives, and find partners among the largest market players and international colleagues.”

The programme will also feature discussions of national and interregional tourism initiatives, including major tourist route and resort projects that are driving demand across Russia: The Golden Ring of Russia and the Five Seas and Lake Baikal projects.

The Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum is the largest event in the Russian tourism industry, combining a festival part for travellers and business part for industry professionals. More than 4,000 people took part in the business forum in 2025, and 433,000 people attended the festival. A total of 438 organizations, including travel agents, hotel chains, tourist attractions, and equipment manufacturers, showcased their products and services at 140 exhibition stands. All 89 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in the event (83 presented their own exhibits), alongside delegates from 32 foreign countries (nine of which had their own stands). The business programme included 61 sessions and 427 speakers, with 67 agreements being signed. The festival featured 182 events in lecture halls (276 experts), while the main stage hosted performances by more than 100 creative ensembles.
