The Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum, scheduled for 10 to 15 June at Moscow’s VDNH, will be hosting stands of the country’s 89 constituent entities and 12 macro-regions. The motto for this year’s Forum, organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, is ‘Discover Russia’.

The exhibition has been designed to demonstrate the diversity of cultures and traditions that define the country’s various peoples and regions. Stands dedicated to Russia’s Silver Necklace and Golden Ring will serve as exhibition focal points. There will also be stands for foreign nations, with Cuba welcoming visitors as the Let’s Travel! Forum’s first foreign guest. The Forum and exhibition to be held in VDNH’s central venues for the first time.

The 80th anniversary of the Great Victory will also receive special attention at the exhibition. “One of the leitmotifs of the exhibition at this year’s Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum will be the role the regions played in the Great Victory. Every corner of this country has a rich history and glorious traditions that deserve the attention of future generations. Modern stands will bring this heritage to life,” Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.

In addition to the exhibition, Forum guests and participants will also have the opportunity to attend special panel discussions and thematic sessions, and the business programme will focus on three main blocks: human resources, investment in the tourism industry, and international cooperation.

“A number of events planned for the Forum will include the participation of government officials, regional heads, and industry organizations and associations involved in the development of tourism in Russia. Let’s Travel! is Russia’s largest tourism forum, an anchor event for the sector, a place where major decisions are made affecting the development of tourism in the country, where the results of previous initiatives are examined and goals set for the future,” Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of the Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum Vladimir Zatynaiko said.

The Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum combines a platform for networking between the state and business at the highest levels with Russia’s first Tourism Festival geared towards travelers in a unique format that acquaints people with the tourism potential of Russia, friendly foreign destinations, and different types of tourism.
