The Let’s Travel! Russian Tourism Forum, one of the most important events in the Russian tourism industry, is changing its status to an international forum based on a decision made by its organizers in response to growing interest among foreign participants and the expanded geography of the Forum’s partners.

In 2024, the 4th Let’s Travel! Russian Tourism Forum was attended by more than 3,000 participants from Russia and 30 other countries. More than half a million guests visited the Forum venue, a 10-fold increase from 2023. Countries whose expositions were presented at the Forum included Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Thailand, Iran, Cuba, Myanmar, South Africa, Uzbekistan, Tanzania, and Belarus. Cuba also confirmed it will participate this year.

Commenting on the prospects for the development of the tourism industry and the role of international cooperation, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko noted: “As our President Vladimir Putin has emphasized, more and more people are choosing to vacation in Russia. This is evidenced by impressive results: Russians took more than 92 million domestic trips in 2024. As part of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry national project, we are committed to not only increasing the number of trips within Russia, but also to strengthening ties with friendly countries and creating all the conditions needed for mutual tourist flows to increase. The Let’s Travel! Forum aims to become one of the key tools for promoting Russia’s tourism potential abroad.”

The Forum, which is traditionally held in Moscow at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre, annually brings together senior officials from the tourism industry: tour operators, hotel and management companies, developers, specialized organizations, Russia’s federal and regional authorities, foreign businesses, and industry organizations. With its new status, the Forum will focus not only on domestic tourism, but also on the development of international cooperation.

“We see great prospects for integrating our Forum into the international tourism community. This will strengthen Russia’s position as an attractive destination for travellers from all over the world,” Roscongress Foundation Deputy CEO and Director of the Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum Vladimir Zatynayko said.

In 2025, the slogan of the Let’s Travel! Forum will be ‘Discover Russia’. It will not only provide a platform for Russians to learn about the potential of their own country, but also for cooperation in inbound tourism. The Forum’s international status offers other countries a unique opportunity to directly present their tourist destinations to a huge target audience of Russian tourists, and the organizers expect an increase in the number of foreign participants in the festival exhibition from among national offices and foreign companies.

The Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum will provide a platform for participants to interact with their foreign colleagues, discuss joint projects, attract foreign tourists to Russia, and promote Russian tourist destinations abroad. The change in the Forum’s status highlights Russia’s growing role in the global tourism market, as well as efforts to promote the country’s unique cultural and natural heritage among foreign travellers.

The Let’s Travel! International Tourism Forum will take place on 10–15 June 2025 at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow.
