Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko chaired a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the ‘Let’s Travel!’ International Tourism Forum. The meeting was attended by representatives of the federal authorities, the Moscow government, as well as key organizations and development institutions. Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Vakhrukov presented reports on the results of the ‘Let’s Travel!’ Forum in 2025 and preparations for the Forum in 2026.
“Next year, the ‘Let’s Travel!’ Forum will be held for the sixth time. It will take place on 10–14 June in Moscow at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre. The main goal of the Forum is to showcase the tourism potential of all Russia’s regions and the wide range of available types of recreation, as well as to create special offers for residents. Based on a government directive, the Forum has been granted international status this year. The invitation campaign has already begun: in addition to representatives of our 89 regions, we expect foreign delegations to participate as well,” Dmitry Chernyshenko said.
The Organizing Committee approved the dates and venue for the ‘Let’s Travel!’ International Tourism Forum in 2026. The Forum will take place on 10–14 June at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre and per tradition will be timed to coincide with Russia Day on 12 June. The business programme will run from 10 to 12 June, with Youth Day held on 12 June. The main theme of the Forum is ‘Culture of Hospitality: Expanding Borders and Strengthening Ties’.
“Tourism and hospitality aren’t just a sector of the economy, but a driver of national development. Each traveller makes a contribution to achieving an important goal: by 2030, the number of trips within Russia should reach 140 million, while the share of the tourism industry in GDP should reach five percent. Developing domestic tourism is the path to a strong economy. Through hospitality and travel, we are achieving the national development goal, and the ‘Let’s Travel!’ International Forum shows how travel unites people and strengthens the country,” Anton Kobyakov said.
The main events of the ‘Let’s Travel!’ International Tourism Forum 2026 will include a plenary session, a national meeting on developing tourism, a business dialogue with the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, as well as meetings of working groups and subcommittees of intergovernmental commissions on tourism with representatives of other countries. Additional events will include award ceremonies, meetings with foreign partners, and information tours. Special attention will be paid to promoting the Forum on international platforms, developing a programme for foreign buyers, and synchronizing information tours under the national brand ‘Discover Russia’.
“The concept of the upcoming Forum is based on the transition from plans to demonstrating real achievements. We are focusing on practical results: we will showcase new tourism products and locations that have already been created and are ready to receive guests. Our job is not just to inform, but to clearly demonstrate the competitiveness of the domestic tourism market. In 2026, the Forum will significantly expand its boundaries. We are not only increasing the scope of the business programme, but also the physical space of the event. The Cosmos and Atom pavilions will be used, and there will be a completely renovated area that will enable us to create a large-scale business platform to demonstrate the potential of Russian companies,” Dmitry Vakhrukov said.
Dmitry Vakhrukov also noted that a definitive schedule of preparations for the Forum has now been approved: the main theme will be determined by the end of November, and the complete programme structure will be announced in December. The final business programme will be released no later than 15 April 2026.
The ‘Let’s Travel!’ International Tourism Forum is a key platform for discussing strategic issues concerning the development of tourism and hospitality that combines business, exhibition, and festival programmes and helps to promote the tourism potential of Russia’s regions domestically and internationally.
